n2pdf Client

n2pdf Client is the solution for users who want to create PDF documents directly from any Notes database. Installed on the local workstation, n2pdf Client enables the conversion of complete Notes documents or individual fields into PDF format. File attachments can also be included in the PDF file.

n2pdf Client is used directly by the user from within the Notes database, for example a mail database. It can be adapted optimally to the workflow of the application and does not require extensive knowledge of the PDF format. Users do not need to learn an additional application. Instead, they can use PDF generation directly from within their familiar environment. For example, they can click a button in the action bar or start an agent when sending a document.

The application developer integrates n2pdf Client into the application through LotusScript or Java. This extends the programming language and makes it possible to control PDF generation flexibly.

The developer creates agents or libraries and adds them to the relevant points in the application workflow. Through optional interaction with the user, for example by dialogs or configuration documents, n2pdf Client enables the PDF file to be designed individually. At the same time, important aspects such as corporate design requirements or security settings can still be enforced consistently.
