n2pdf is the complete solution for Notes/Domino for secure, uncomplicated conversion of documents and file attachments into the cross-platform PDF format. n2pdf can be integrated into applications or configured as a Domino Server Task. The PDF files generated from Notes/Domino content are suitable – depending on the standard – for internal or external document exchange and for audit-proof long-term archiving. n2pdf offers the option of retaining and even expanding existing structures and cross-references in a Notes document when converting it to a PDF document. This preserves an important unique selling point of the Notes application.
n2pdf consists of three product components: The n2pdf Client can be optimally integrated into the workflow of the Domino application, the n2pdf Server Agent enables use in agents on the Domino Server or in Domino web applications, and the out-of-the-box solution n2pdf Archive allows the archiving of databases and mailboxes in PDF/A standard – without any programming effort.
n2pdf converts Notes documents and Notes databases while preserving the original structure, merges various (partial) documents, and optionally also processes file attachments. However, unlike many other products, n2pdf does not function as a printer driver, but is based on an API that creates native PDF documents.
